On Amendments to the Organic Law of Georgia „On the Prosecutor's Office“
Article 1. The following amendment shall be made to the Organic Law of Georgia „On the Prosecutor's Office“ (Legislative Herald of Georgia (www.matsne.gov.ge), 13.12.2018, registration code: 110060000.04.001.016256):🔗
1. Article 18 shall be set out in the following wording:
„Article 18. Acts of the Prosecutor General
The Prosecutor General shall be entitled to issue normative and individual administrative-legal acts — orders.“.
2. Article 84 shall be supplemented with paragraph 12 of the following content:
„12. A crime committed by an employee of the Prosecutor's Office before 1 July 2019 shall, in accordance with investigative jurisdiction, be investigated by the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia.“.
3. Article 85 shall be supplemented with paragraph 1¹ of the following content:
„11. The Prosecutor General shall, from 1 July 2019, carry out the criminal prosecution provided for by subparagraph „i“ of paragraph 2 of Article 15 of this Law against the State Inspector in the manner prescribed by law.“.
Article 2. This Law shall enter into force upon publication.🔗
