He is represented before the Court by Mr S. Khatchapuridze, a lawyer practising in Tbilisi.2.  The facts of the case, as submitted by the applicant, may be summarised as follows.3.  On 22 November 2010 the Sighnaghi District Court found the applicant guilty of the unlawful purchase and possession of drugs, and aiding the selling of drugs in particularly large quantities, offences under Article 260 § 1 and Article (24) 260 § 2 (a) of the Criminal Code.
