The applicant was extradited to Russia on 24 October 2019. In January and April 2020, the Russian General Prosecutor’s Office sought, in line with Article 14 of the European Convention on Extradition, the consent of Georgia for the applicant’s prosecution in respect of new (post-extradition) charges.
