Agreement between the Ministry of Defence of Hungary and the Ministry of Defence of Georgia on the cooperation in the Military Field The Ministry of Defence of Hungary and the Ministry of Defence of Georgia (hereinafter referred to as tle Parties) CONSIDERING the friendly and cooperative relations exisdng between the two countries; DESIRING to enhance and strengthen the existing bilateral relationship through MILITARY FIELD between the Parties; EMPHASIZING the efforB for the creation, maintenance and development of good relations between the Parties in the spirit ofunderstanding and confidence; CONFIRMING their commitmenb to observe the principles and obiectives of the United Nations Charter; TAKING into account the provision of the ASreement among the States Parties to the North Atlantlc Treaty and other States ParticiPating in the PartnershiP for Peace retarding the st8tus of their forces (PfP soFA) HAVE aBreed in the followings: 6&kloJ, Geneml proYlslons 1.1- The Parties will co-oPerate in accordance witi national laws and international obllgations in order to encourage, facllitate and develop mutually beneficial military cooperation. 1.2. The military cooperation of the Parties in the framework of this Agreement will be executed on the basis of equal rights and mutual advantages. 1.3. The military cooperation ofthe Parties shall not offend the interests and security ofthird courltries. The details of training of personnel and other cooperation in relation to peace-support operations will be atreed by the parties in separate agreement. 3,3. Further forms of miritary cooperation may be agreed upon after mutual, written consent ofthe Parties. 3 4 Both Parties may authorize other bodies subordinated to them to malntain contacts and implement provisions of this Agreement. The cooperation programme plan shall contain information concerning the title of the event, date and place ofexecution and number ofparties. 4.3' The representatlves ofthe Parties establlsh the Annual cooperation plan for each comint year. The sending Party shall cover the costs ol a) transportation to and from the location ofthe programme specifted in advance; b) daily allowance; c) other costs in connection with the iourney (accident and hearth insurance, visa, etc.), 5.3. The receiving Parqr shall cover the coss of: a) accommodation: b) catertng and services; c) organization and implementation ofthe defence cooperation eyenE; d) travel within its territory. 5.4. Cost of accommodation and catering for delegations over 10 persons (especially orchestras, art bands, sporsmen) be covered by the sending party, unress otherwise agreed through special agreement between the parties. wi party 5.5. ln case of emergency. the receiving provides medical assistance and basic dental care of the delegates in the miritary medical institutions free of charge. rf further treatment needed, the patient will be sent back home at the cost ofthe sending parry. 5.6. Arttcle 7 lntellcc hrol pru a,ertv righ ts The Parties shall protect the intellectual property rithts of each other in accordance with international laws and their respective laws and regulations. Any transactton relating to such rights shall be governed by such laws and regulations. Article I Saohrs of Personnel 8.1. During their stay in the country of the host Party, the military and civilian personnel of the sending Party will respect the laws, regulations, customs and traditions of the country of the host Party. They shall not act in a manner prejudicial to the security and integrity of the country ofthe host Party. 8.2. ln case the personnel of the sending Party violat€ military discipline during their stay in the country of the host Party, the authorilies of the sendint Party shall take appropriate action in accordance wlth its own milltary laws and rules. 8.3. The Parties confirm that the provisions of PfP S0FA are to be considered in status matter. Therefore this Agreement shall enter into force on the date ofthe notification ;fthe Ceorgian Party. 12 2. Any of the Parties may terminate the present Agreement in a written notice to the other Party. The termination shall take effect on the 1B0d day after the receipt ofsuch a notice. 12.3.
